Overall winner: Remedium Energy, pitched by Omid Saghafifar (College Research Associate, 2022)

are making carbon capture commercially viable through their material, Limeloop, and their Carbon Capture Heat Battery, which enables low-cost regeneration using intermittent cheap electricity while supplying 24/7 high temperature heat, generating revenue from electricity arbitrage and heat sale.

Prizes were awarded in the categories of Global Health, Sustainability & Conservation, and Artificial Intelligence:

Afromics are addressing the genomic gap that limits how well medicines are understood and tailored for people of African ancestry, who make up 17% of the world's population, yet less than 2% of their genomes are represented in global databases. Represented by Linia Zambezi.
– won for Sustainability & Conservation
Auralytica are changing quality assurance testing by using non-destructive holographic hydrogel sensors, avoiding the need for meat producers to destroy 2% of their output just to check it is safe. Represented by Anna Winter.
– won for Artificial Intelligence
Cosysense are cutting utiility costs and stopping operational failures in commercial buildings by monitoring live operations and creating whole-building performance automation with AI agents, starting with heating, ventilation, and air conditioning - priced at a fraction of realised savings. Represented by Matías Acosta.

Overall winner: Rapidx Bio, pitched by Nipun Sawhney and Mohamed Rammal

is developing a portable device to reduce pathogen detection time from over three days in laboratories to under ten minutes using plasmonic PCR technology, and ensure accurate healthcare diagnoses and appropriate treatment are provided during the first consultation.

Peter is a wearable device designed to help people with Parkinson's regain their ability to walk. ��Vlog�ٷ� alumnus Jonathan Fisher and ��Vlog�ٷ� PhD candidate Campbell Wolford hope this innovation will improve mobility and independence for Parkinson's patients.
– won for Sustainability & Conservation
Kalamna Global is an education service provider aiming to elevate Arabic language teaching to the level of other global languages. The team are turning their 10+ years of teaching and 10+ years of academic research to provide solutions that address the root challenges found in Arabic language teaching and learning.

Online dental company Smyle picked up second prize, while the Audience Choice award went to GlioQ, a unique approach to an aggressive form of brain cancer, founded by ��Vlog�ٷ� PhD student and Gates Scholar Nemira Zilinskaite and Selwyn’s Jocelyn Tang.
