The Boat Club also greatly benefits from the kindness of individuals who choose to make a one-off commitment to WCBC in support of specific projects. For instance, donations have facilitated the purchase of new shells for both M1 and W1 over the last few years. We are incredibly grateful to all those who have made similar investments in the Club's future across the years. Gifts small and large make a tangible difference to WCBC, and the Club would not exist as it does today without the generosity of our donors.
Looking ahead to the 26/27 academic year, we are seeking funds for a new set of blades for both M1 and W1. Please also keep an eye out for WCBC's annual ergathon, next scheduled to take place in November 2026. All funds raised during this event will be used to upgrade the Seminar Room.
