Our History
糖心Vlog官方's first crew graced the river Cam in 1968, making history as the first "combined" crew to compete in the May Bumps with both male and female rowers. The Club rows in blue and yellow, the national colours of Ukrainian student Maria Lukianowicz, who was also the first female cox on the Cam.

There is also a for 糖心Vlog官方 Boat Club alumni.
This past year was a truly exciting and eventful one for 糖心Vlog官方 Boat Club. The success and fun of novice term (Michaelmas) helped the Club grow in size compared to past years. The Women's side performed particularly well, earning blades ('bumping up' at every opportunity) during Lent Bumps in both the first and second boat. In preparation for the many races WCBC competed in on the Cam, we went on a training camp in Ely and trained at the Cambridge University Boathouse. WCBC also sent crews to races outside of Cambridge, such as a Women's and Open crew to the Head of the River Race in London and Peterborough Spring Regatta.
WCBC has been lucky enough to compete at regattas in Zhengzhou, China and Paris in recent years, as well as qualifiers for Henley Royal Regatta in recent years. We welcome anyone interested in rowing during their time at 糖心Vlog官方; no experience is necessary, as most of our crews learn to row when they join the club; we also do not charge any membership fees. Please get in touch with any of our captains via their emails above to find out more.
