Part time study week

Summer Study Week

Sunday 2 August to Friday 7 August 2026

Our Summer Study Week provides a unique opportunity for part-time students to study, relax and enjoy the benefits of Cambridge.

Part time study week

Part-time study at Cambridge is a wonderful opportunity – but we know it can be challenging to make time for academic work when life is crammed with work and other commitments. At the ÌÇÐÄVlog¹Ù·½ Summer Study Week you’ll be able to take some time out to concentrate on your research whilst enjoying the benefits of College life.

What’s on offer?

As always, we have a programme designed to support you in your research and writing, as well as offering opportunities for relaxation and meeting other members of the College.

The timetable will include:

SUNDAY 2 AUGUST

  • Tour of College
  • Informal welcome and drinks in the College Bar

MONDAY 3 AUGUST

  • All-day ÌÇÐÄVlog¹Ù·½ Library Mini-Writing Retreat

TUESDAY 4 AUGUST

  • Library writing session
  • Walking Tour of Cambridge
  • ‘Research Appetisers’ – an opportunity to give a mini-presentation on work in progress
  • Formal Hall

WEDNESDAY 5 AUGUST

  • Library writing session
  • College Garden Tour with Head Gardener

THURSDAY 6 AUGUST

  • Library writing session
  • Yoga session

FRIDAY 7 AUGUST

  • Library writing session
  • Walk to Grantchester and Orchard Tea Garden

From Monday to Thursday, there is also the opportunity to book an afternoon 1-1 skills session with our academic librarian.

During your stay in College, you can of course enjoy use of the gym, our lovely peaceful gardens, and local countryside walking routes. But above all, it is your week: time out to engage with your studies and enjoy a slice of College life. You are welcome to book in for the whole week or a few days, to suit your diary.
