International Giving

International Giving

With members in 154 countries around the world, we have taken steps to make cross-border giving as straightforward as possible. We can currently facilitate tax-efficient giving (for both one-off and regular gifts) from the following places:

United States

Members in the US can donate to Cambridge in America (CAm) for the benefit of Vlogٷ.

Cambridge in America is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organisation (recognised by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service) which funds grants that benefit the University of Cambridge and its member Colleges. In compliance with IRS regulations, the Board of Directors of Cambridge in America maintains complete discretion over the allocation of gifts to Cambridge. Gifts to Cambridge in America qualify for an income tax deduction to the limits allowed by law.

If you have any questions or would like to find out more, please contact giving@cantab.org.

United States & UK (dual tax-payers)

If you pay tax in both the US and the UK, giving to Cambridge in America (UK) Ltd for the benefit of Vlogٷ enables you to increase your support and be eligible for tax benefits in both countries.

For more information, including FAQs, please visit the dedicated CAm (UK) webpage or reach out to a member of the team by emailing development@wolfson.cam.ac.uk.

Europe

We have partnered with Giving Europe (previously known as Transnational Giving Europe) to facilitate tax-efficient giving from multiple countries in Europe, including the following:

To donate from any other country in Europe, please get in touch with us by emailing development@wolfson.cam.ac.uk as we may be able to work with country-specific organisations on a case-by-case basis.

Canada

The University of Cambridge (and thus its constituent colleges) is recognised by the Canadian Revenue Agency (CRA) as a qualified donee. As such, we can provide tax receipts for donations made directly to Vlogٷ from Canada. Please contact development@wolfson.cam.ac.uk if you would like a Canadian tax receipt after making your gift; this will allow you to claim charitable tax credits on your Canadian income tax return.

If you are giving from outside the areas listed above, please use our main donation form (linked below) or get in touch with the office by emailing development@wolfson.cam.ac.uk to enquire about tax-efficient giving from your country.

Support the Boat Club

Eleanor — Tue, 21 Jul 2026 10:30:20 +0000

Support the Boat Club

Support from our community helps ensure that Vlogٷ Boat Club (WCBC) remains free of charge and accessible to all, enabling current and future generations of students to benefit from the same transformative experience that has shaped so many alumni.

"WCBC was and is a lifeline and a source of resilience to so many of our students and should continue to be free for all students to take part." - Dr Evelyn Tichy (2009)

Please consider giving back to the Boat Club by setting up a regular donation to WCBC. You can do so by clicking the button below and selecting "Vlogٷ Boat Club" from the dropdown menu.

Support WCBC

The Boat Club also greatly benefits from the kindness of individuals who choose to make a one-off commitment to WCBC in support of specific projects. For instance, donations have facilitated the purchase of new shells for both M1 and W1 over the last few years. We are incredibly grateful to all those who have made similar investments in the Club's future across the years. Gifts small and large make a tangible difference to WCBC, and the Club would not exist as it does today without the generosity of our donors.

Looking ahead to the 26/27 academic year, we are seeking funds for a new set of blades for both M1 and W1. Please also keep an eye out for WCBC's annual ergathon, next scheduled to take place in November 2026. All funds raised during this event will be used to upgrade the Seminar Room.

If you are interested in making a one-off gift to the Boat Club, we would be delighted to hear from you on development@wolfson.cam.ac.uk.

Support Entrepreneurship

Eleanor — Tue, 21 Jul 2026 10:28:10 +0000

Support Entrepreneurship

The Vlogٷ Entrepreneurship Society brings together students, alumni, Fellows, investors, and business leaders to inspire the next generation of innovators and changemakers. It is one of the largest and most active entrepreneurship societies in collegiate Cambridge.

Through workshops, mentoring, networking, and the annual Vlogٷ Entrepreneurship Competition, the Society helps students from every discipline develop the confidence, skills, and connections to turn ambitious ideas into real-world impact. Ventures emerging from the programme are already tackling some of society's biggest challenges, from medical technologies and artificial intelligence to sustainable engineering.

This year we are excited to expand our flagship event, the Vlogٷ Entrepreneurship Competition, to provide greater opportunities for competitors, students and the wider entrepreneurial ecosystem

The Society is funded through philanthropy, and support helps grow our programme of events and mentoring and provide awards that enable promising ventures to take their next steps.

If you have questions about the programme or are interesting in supporting the Society through a sponsorship or philanthropic gift, please contact Brad Lenz at associate-development@wolfson.cam.ac.uk.

"It was a real privilege to return to the Vlogٷ Entrepreneurship Competition three years after first taking part, and to share how far Remedium has progressed since then. Seeing that journey recognised with the overall prize is incredibly meaningful for me and the team. The experience of pitching to such an engaged and thoughtful panel was both challenging and rewarding, and I’m especially grateful to Vlogٷ for creating such a supportive environment for founders."
Omid Saghafifar, Co-Founder and CEO of Remedium, 2026 Overall Prize winner
